Dr. Michelle Caryn Paul is an industrial-organizational psychologist and transformation leader who has spent more than 25 years helping organizations engineer human performance so individuals experience fulfilling work and organizations optimize outcomes. She launched her consulting career in late-1990s Silicon Valley, guiding high-growth technology companies such as Adobe, Cisco, and Electronic Arts to strengthen human capital metrics and organizational health. Since then, she has helped government agencies, nonprofits, and commercial organizations tackle major organization-wide changes: adopting new strategies and new operating models, redesigning job roles and teams, updating processes, and using performance dashboards to celebrate successes and support ongoing improvements. As President of Equifinality Solutions, Michelle now helps her clients maximize performance with a focus on adopting AI responsibly and ethically. Her advisory services include upskilling employees, developing AI strategy and governance, redesigning job roles and teams, and reinventing business processes with AI.

An engaging speaker known for translating behavioral science into practical action, Michelle has led workshops and delivered keynote addresses for DisruptHR, Washington Women Executive Leaders, Washington Women in Public Relations, the Society for Consulting Psychology, the Inclusion Allies Coalition, and various Society for Human Resources Management local chapters. She earned a BA in Psychology and Sociology (summa cum laude) from Emory University and an MA and PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
